Tuesday Forecast
Good Tuesday #GoodTuesday
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Good Tuesday morning everyone!
It’s a little active early on this morning as a few scattered storms have flared up along a weak front moving into the deep South. We’ll see most of this early activity diminishing by the morning drive. However, the afternoon has another round of some scattered hit or miss storms. So go ahead and grab the umbrella before you head out the door.
Otherwise, it’s another warm and humid start with temperatures in the mid 70s. Temperatures warm into the mid 80s by mid-morning, with highs today near 90 on the beaches to low 90s around the bays, to mid 90s along I-10.

With humidity still remaining high, we’ll feel much more like the low triple digits this afternoon for a heat index. That heat and humidity, plus the sea breeze, and the weak frontal boundary in the South will set the stage for widely scattered afternoon storms today.

While a few may linger into tonight, there’s only a small chance over the next few days until the weekend where we’ll have to watch and see what happens in the Tropics.

Tropical Storm Bill formed off the coast of the Carolina’s and will be heading for cooler waters of the northern Atlantic off the Eastern Seaboard where it will turn extra-tropical and eventually get absorbed into a trough.
