Trump spiritual adviser Paula White holds live prayer for his reelection

‘The Lord says it is done,’ White declared, praying for a President Trump win. ‘For I hear victory, victory, victory!’

Paula White, the spiritual adviser to President Donald Trump, held a prayer service declaring that angels were being “dispatched” to help the 45th president remain in the White House.

“I hear a sound of victory. The Lord says it is done. For I hear victory, victory, victory!” White proclaimed. “Angels are being dispatched right now.”

Then, things take a bit of a turn.

“Angels have been dispatched from Africa right now,” White says she envisions. “They’re coming here, in the name of Jesus.” She also declares angels were being “dispatched” from South America.

The chairwoman of the White House evangelical advisory board had no mention of how, in a closed-door meeting with U.S. officials in January of 2018, Trump referred to Haiti, El Salvador and a host of African nations as “sh*thole countries.”

In the clips of her prayer, originally posted by Right Wing Watch, she also vowed to stand against “demonic confederacies” that are against the election in America and, she says, “who You have declared to be in the White House.”

In their Twitter bio, Right Wing Watch calls itself “a project of People For the American way that monitors and exposes the activities of Radical Right political organizations.”

White, a televangelist from Florida, has been with Trump since he ran for president in 2016. She officially joined his administration as an advisor to the Faith and Opportunity Initiative, a religious voice in government.

The unusual delivery of her speech, which has been described as both “impassioned” and “bizarre,” was noted in responses to the clip that quickly went viral on Twitter.

One Tweeter used a familiar meme to describe the reaction of “African Angels” hearing White’s prayer.

Dr. Jennifer Cassidy, a political lecturer, wrote, “Not like we needed much confirmation, but Trumpism has all the trappings of a full-blown cult.”

Another post showed the prayer with Eminem’s “Without Me” instrumental layered over it.

White was previously the senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida, a non-denominational megachurch that espouses the teachings of the prosperity gospel.

The 54-year-old preacher has been widely criticized for making millions of dollars through prosperity gospel, which encourages followers to donate generously to the church to receive blessings from God. Her former ministry, Without Walls, was the subject of a Senate Finance Committee investigation from 2007 through 2011.

As the 2020 presidential election results remained uncertain into Wednesday, White tweeted a request for her nearly one million followers: “I ask you to pray fervently, without ceasing for our nation and the election results.”

Echoing the sentiments of other Trump supporters, she alleged, without explanation, “ great concern that some are trying to steal this election. Let us pray to God, who knows all, to reveal truth.”

She implored her followers to “Pray that the enemies to God are quieted and their plans are overturned.”
