Trump slams his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany: ‘RINOS & Globalists can have her’

Former President Donald Trump slammed his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany for providing what he called the “wrong poll numbers” while on Fox News.
“Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on FoxNews. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up. While 25 is great, it’s not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll,” Trump wrote Tuesday evening on Truth Social. “The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!”
In the post, he included a new nickname for McEnany while using DeSanctimonious to refer to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, his top challenger in the Republican presidential primary. The term “RINO” is a pejorative acronym meaning “Republican in name only.”
Before Trump’s post, McEnany said Tuesday on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” that Trump’s lead over DeSantis had fallen from 34 points to 25 points in Iowa, a key primary state, since the governor entered the race last week.
It is unclear which poll Trump or McEnany are referencing. An Emerson College poll taken from May 19-22, two days before DeSantis announced his candidacy, shows Trump with a 42-point lead over DeSantis in Iowa.
