The brilliant Aussie opener put on an incredible display of batting to end India’s run of ten consecutive wins and stun a vocal home crowd.

Head’s century came in just 95 balls, as he and Marnus Labuschagne dragged Pat Cummins’ men from 47-3 to the verge of glory.

He ended up getting 137 before falling one ball before Glenn Maxwell came out and scored the winning runs.

Australia restricted India to 240 on a slow pitch but looked to be in trouble once Steve Smith was given out lbw.

However, Head and Labuschagne rebuilt and pushed Australia on towards their sixth Cricket World Cup title.

Given the situation and the pressure, this innings from Head was a total gem and will live long in the memory of all those who witnessed it.
