The first round of the 2022/2023 Premier League is in the books, but plenty of teams are still looking to add reinforcements before the end of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United appear to be one of the sides most in need of recruits following a dreadful defeat to Brighton. They are thought to be close to agreeing a deal to sign Juventus outcast Adrien Rabiot, though a move for top target Frenkie de Jong looks to be dead in the water.
An injury to Thiago Alcantara could also force Liverpool back into the market for a midfielder, a year earlier than Jurgen Klopp planned. Chelsea and Arsenal are also far from finished with their summer business, with the Blues targeting Wesley Fofana and the Gunners working on signing both a midfielder and a winger.
