Blazers #Blazers

As part of its first-ever in-season tournament, the NBA revealed special courts for all 30 teams Monday, including the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland’s court will be red down the outer thirds, stretching from baseline to baseline, with a typical lighter wood color stretching from key to key down the middle third. A plaid “Rip City” logo is emblazoned over midcourt with the tournament’s trophy behind it.

The special court will debut along with the team’s City edition uniforms, which have been hinted to feature some form of plaid and the words, “Rip City.” The court contains plaid in the logo with an additional, plaid-centric nod to legendary coach Dr. Jack Ramsay along one of the sidelines.

Portland’s two home games for the in-season tournament’s group stage are at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, and 7 p.m. Nov. 17 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. Its two road games in the group are at Utah at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and at Phoenix at 6 p.m. Nov. 21.

Each conference is broken up into three groups of five teams for the tournament, with the winner of each group advancing to the knockout stage along with the best-performing second-place team.
