Bulgari has a history of deep ties with the world of cinema, sponsoring events such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Berlinale, and the Singapore International Film Festival, and even featuring their jewels in numerous films. Who could forget Elizabeth Taylor wearing her iconic Bulgari Serpenti on the set of Cleopatra, or even Sharon Stone’s box of Bulgari jewels in the hit 1990s film Casino? Today, the the historic Italian luxury brand has taken their connection with the film industry a step further by becoming a major sponsor and official jewelry partner of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

TIFF, the largest publicly attended film festival in the world, is a not-for-profit cultural organization that offers film screenings, educational experiences, professional development opportunities and more. One of TIFF’s most renowned projects includes TIFF Bell Lightbox, which features five cinemas, major exhibitions, and learning and entertainment facilities.

What can we expect from this partnership in the near future? The Italian luxury brand will sponsor the fourth annual TIFF Tribute Awards fundraising gala this fall, celebrating the industry’s most talented contributors.
