Tony Khan Criticizes WWE Booking Jinder Mahal In World Title Match

Tony Khan targeted WWE’s booking in a pair of new tweets.
AEW CEO Tony Khan took to Twitter on January 9 and highlighted that HOOK, who recently called out AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, is 28-1. He stated that this logical challenge sparked online outrage. Khan then pointed to WWE’s Jinder Mahal, who got a title match despite losing every single match he had been in over the last year. Khan then questioned where the outrage was.
In another tweet, Khan responded to a post from the USA Network Twitter account that took a jab at the AEW CEO by asking what the Cagematch rating of a match between Mahal and Seth Rollins was. Khan wrote that USA getting a moral win was one victory more than Jinder Mahal had in the last year. He sarcastically said that USA put AEW in their place by having Jinder Mahal in a big match.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on Wednesday and WWE RAW as it airs on Monday.
