NFL free agency has technically already begun after the legal tampering period started on Monday, but the official start of free agency for the Tennessee Titans and the rest of the NFL begins on Wednesday, March 13, when the new league year begins.
After that time, pending free agents officially hit the open market, as their contracts expire. Adding to that, players can officially begin signing on the dotted line.
As of this writing, the Titans have reportedly agreed to terms with five outside free agents: Center Lloyd Cushenberry, linebacker Kenneth Murray, running back Tony Pollard, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie and offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles.
In addition, the Titans have reportedly agreed to terms with two of their own free agents in long snapper Morgan Cox and running back Julius Chestnut.
