Titans fans not happy with losing Nate Davis, David Long

The Tennessee Titans lost two of their key free agents on Monday after right guard Nate Davis agreed to terms with the Chicago Bears and David Long agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins.

Davis’ reported deal with the Bears will pay him $30 million over three years, while Long’s reported pact earns him $11 million over two years.

Neither of those deals are outrageous, but that didn’t stop Tennessee from letting both walk. That’s likely because both have had issues staying on the field for a Titans team that has been plagued by injury the past two years.

That said, the departures of Long and Davis leave Tennessee with big holes at linebacker and right guard, respectively. The Titans now have as many as four starters to replace along the offensive line, and two starters at inside linebacker.

Despite the injury concerns with Davis and Long, Titans fans were not happy about losing either, especially after seeing what they signed for. Along with fan reaction, members of the Titans media also weighed-in.
