Thursday blog: Increasing clouds and some showers on the way -Chris

Good Thursday morning everyone, we’re one step closer to the weekend. We do have another gusty day ahead of us though, but not quite like what we have seen over the last weekend. Gusts today should range from 20-25mph in most cases.

Your drive home should be good, we have mostly cloudy skies and temps in the 50s near 60°. We do have the yellow light on due to the gusty winds which could push around high-profile vehicles.

Heading through today we’re looking at a high right around 64° with mostly cloudy skies persisting throughout the day, along with those gusty southeast winds.

Tonight, we’re cool again with a low around 47°. There may be an overnight shower or two for some of us, most of us will remain dry and any shower activity we see will be quite late, after midnight. Those showers may persist into the early morning hours of Friday before they clear out leaving us with mostly cloudy skies again.

Heading into your pre-Halloween weekend, scattered shower chances return and temps will be in the mid to upper 50s. We’re not looking at a complete washout with rain, so don’t cancel your weekend plans, just keep the umbrella handy if you’re heading to any outdoor events.

We settle into a mild, above average pattern next week.

Next Tuesday-Saturday:  Warming into the 70s, but showers pushing through on Wednesday and Thursday.  Rain chances increasing late in the week and into the weekend.

November 6th-12th:  A cool start to the week with a few showers.  Warming up late in the week but rain chances on Friday and Saturday.

November 13th-19th: Mainly a mild week with rain chances toward the weekend.

November 20th-26th: Much cooler week with slight chances for showers on Monday.  Then a bigger system right after Thanksgiving with rain and maybe snow chances.

November 27th- December 3rd:  A cold start to the week with a mid week warm up.  Rain chances for the middle of the week and cooling back down toward the weekend.
