Thunder vs. Jazz prediction and odds for NBA Summer League (How to bet total)
Tre Mann #TreMann
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been a dominant NBA Summer League team in recent seasons, and they should be again in 2023.
OKC takes on the Utah Jazz in the Salt Lake City Summer League on Monday night, and there are a ton of notable names on each roster:
As you can see, there is a ton of talent between draft picks or players that have already gotten NBA experience under their belt on both sides – but especially for the Thunder.
Can OKC cover as a favorite on Monday night? Here’s a look at the odds and my best bet for this Summer League clash:

I don’t mind a bet on the Thunder here, but I am a little concerned about how much the team will let rotation players like Holmgren (may not participate anyway), Jalen Williams, Tre Mann and Jaylin Williams truly play throughout this Summer League.
Despite that, I do think this game lines up to be a high-scoring one given the talent on both sides.
Starting with OKC, the team has a full rotation of draft picks or players that have NBA experience. That’s not even mentioning No. 10 overall pick Cason Wallace – who can’t play until the Thunder’s draft-day deal with the Dallas Mavericks is finalized.
I think the Thunder can put up some huge scoring numbers, similar to what they did last summer when led by Holmgren and Josh Giddey.
On the Utah side, Hendricks and George should get a chance to showcase why the team picked them in the 2023 NBA Draft while playing alongside a scoring wing in Agbaji.
Since Walker Kessler isn’t playing for Utah, I am not worried about the team being a stalwart on the defensive end.
I think this could be an uptempo show between two up-and-coming young teams. Let’s root for points on Monday night.
