This Morning hosts gobsmacked by Madness frontman Suggs’ crude comment
Suggs #Suggs
This Morning’s Rochelle Humes was stunned after Madness’ Suggs made a crude comment about his music.
On Wednesday’s instalment of the show, hosts Rochelle and Dermot O’Leary spoke to 70s pop legends Graham McPherson ‘Suggs’ and Michael Barson.
The duo were speaking about their new album coming out along with an upcoming UK tour before ITV fans took a trip down memory lane.
As the show played a compilation of their well-known songs and music videos, Dermot commented on some of their infamous tunes.
He asked: “Do you ever look back on stuff like that, you ever see those old videos?”
Joking, Michael replied: “Most evenings yeah, after dinner get up the old videos.”
Suggs added: “No when I get caught watching those, it’s almost worse than being caught watching porn when you’re indoors watching your own videos!”
Rochelle’s jaw dropped wide open at his crude comment as Dermot burst into laughter.
Trying to move the conversation along, Rochelle touched on their long career which has spanned over 40 years.
However, their appearance on the ITV show seemed to divide fans as some were thrilled to see Madness on their screens, while others were less than impressed.
@realgmg67 said: “Sorry, that interview with Madness, was a massive pile-up of a crash. #ThisMorning dizzy Rochelle, can’t do this.”
@I_knew_Bob added: “As a fifty-year-old, I grew up listening to Madness. They are “legends”! #thismorning.”
@dylanthomas91 simply commented: “Love madness.”
@DannyTweetsTV joked: “I feel like Suggs definitely has been caught watching porn #ThisMorning.”
With @Tongueflicker commenting: “#ThisMorning @thismorning For me Madness had one great album, their first one.”
This Morning continues weekdays on ITV from 10am.
