The Sixers were looking to bounce back in Game 2 of their playoff series with the Boston Celtics but then they went out and did just the opposite, getting blown out 128-101 to fall behind 2-0 in the series.
The game didn’t even feel as close as that final score as the Celtics cruised in the final two quarters and the outcome was never in doubt.
Joel Embiid and the Sixers now look like a team that has two more games left in its season, a season that started with high hopes but is going to end in total misery once again.
Ben Simmons is out with a season-ending injury but the Sixers should be better than they were Wednesday night.
Joel Embiid gave it all he had with 34 points and 10 rebounds but these sad photos of the Sixers star after he left the game for good sums up how things are with the Sixers right now:

New coach, new surrounding players or a new team? Something has to give for the @sixers @JoelEmbiid too skilled to not put him in a position to succeed! https://t.co/lizQifaDcu

I feel bad for Joel Embiid because he genuinely cares about winning. The man cried after being eliminated last year and the look here shows a lot. Sixers management needs to get it together before they end up losing him. pic.twitter.com/CkVeC0GYs0
