T
he Try Guys have announced that co-creator Ned Fulmer will no longer be working with the YouTube group after it was revealed that he cheated on his wife.
The Try Guys, a group of men who undertake challenges in weekly YouTube videos, is made up of Zach Kornfield, Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and formally, Fulmer.
First appearing as a Buzzfeed series in 2014, they launched an independent YouTube channel in 2018 and now boast 7.8 million subscribers.
Recent videos see the YouTubers take on challenges, like learning how to high dive and eating everything at Pizza Hut.
But fans realised something was amiss when Fulmer appeared to be edited out of the channel’s most recent videos and failed to appear on recent podcast episodes.

Rumours circulated online claiming that Fulmer was having an affair, with photos posted to social media that allegedly showed him kissing Alexandria Herring, a producer of a Try Guys side channel called Food Babies.
Fulmer later confirmed he had a “consensual workplace relationship”.
In a statement shared on social media, Fulmer said: “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but, most of all, to Ariel.
“The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I’m going to focus my attention.”
His wife, Ariel, with whom Fulmer shares two children, said on Instagram: “Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me — it means a lot.
“Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you request our privacy for the sake of our kids.”
In a statement, The Try Guys said: “Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together.
“We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.”
The YouTube group also rebranded their social-media channels and removed Fulmer’s name from their bios.
Fans were particularly shocked at the cheating revelation, given that Fulmer had built a personal brand around his marriage.
In 2017, he sold Christmas jumpers that read, All I want for Xmas is my wife, and, in 2021, he and his wife jointly launched The Date Night Cookbook, which featured “never-before-heard dating stories and relationship tips” as well as recipes.
His Instagram bio describes him as “Comedian and #1 NYT Bestseller (aka @arielmfulmer’s Husband).”
