The Masked Dancer: Judges guess Knickerbocker Glory’s identity
Knickerbocker Glory kicked off the third episode of The Masked Singer’s sister show, The Masked Dancer, and left the panel scratching their heads as to who could be taking part. The character was one of five contestants battling it out to keep their place in the quirky singing contest and they impressed with a routine performed to the track All That Jazz from the musical, Chicago. However, with several clues hinting towards the celebrity having a connection to magic, viewers of the ITV show are sure Debbie McGee, 62, is showcasing her dancing skills.
The clue package saw the quirky character return to the seafront, which is where they were seen walking around in episode one.
“I hope I have the recipe for sweet success again this week,” Knickerbocker Glory said, before adding: “This isn’t an all-star talent show.
“But, yes, I can juggle. Not a lot but if I had an assistant, then maybe,” they continued before they were seen playing around with some magician’s props.
“I have a little confession to make, I dabble in music here and there. I love the illusion of what is real and what is not.
“Time to put some magic on the dance floor. But it’s not a race, I am a dish best served cold,” the celebrity revealed.

I said Debbie McGee first time
Once again, Knickerbocker Glory demonstrated their impressive dance skills, and Debbie is a celebrity who is known for strutting her stuff on the dance floor.
In 2017, the television personality made it all the way to the final of Strictly Come Dancing but just missed out on the crown.
The quirky character also spoke to the panel after their performance and gave them two truths and a lie about their identity.
One of the statements they made indicated they could be put into “a pocket” and although the costume is quite large, a dainty person could be hiding inside.

Debbie is known for her ballerina-esque physique so if this is the truth, could the contestant have given the game away?
They also referenced they were a radio presenter, as they “go to bed late and wake up early” and Debbie has her own show on BBC Radio Berkshire.
All indications seem to suggest the ice cream-based character is the former Strictly contestant, but Knickerbocker Glory wasn’t the only one who performed during the third episode.
The likes of Beetroot, Scarecrow, Zip, and Llama also showcased their moves on the dance floor to fight for a place in the next round of the competition.
The series got off to a stellar start, but Viper was the first of 12 contestants to have their identity exposed after failing to win around the panel.
It was revealed Diversity member and former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Jordan Banjo, 28, was hiding inside the costume.
Flamingo was the second contestant to be eliminated from the competition and their clues seemed to suggest a showbiz background.
By the end of the second episode, model Louise Redknapp, 46, was unmasked as the eccentric and colourful character.
The Masked Dancer airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV.
