Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has spent the last several days on Twitter arguing that the time it takes to count ballots in American elections means that there has been election interference, but her latest complaint shows she suspects more than just… fowl play.

“I’m sure our enemies are quacking in their boots while we are still over here trying to count ballots,” she wrote, probably referring to the “enemies” of the U.S. in general.

Several minutes later, she followed up that tweet with one that spelled the word “quaking” correctly.

Greene has a long history of awkward errors and typos while she’s making heated – and erroneous – claims. Earlier this year she called the Capitol Police “Nancy Pelosi’s gazpacho police,” probably trying to say “Gestapo police” on a podcast. She was mad at the Capitol Police because they entered a Republican colleague’s office that was left open over a weekend.

In May, she went viral for complaining about how “Bill Gates wants you to eat his fake meat that grows in a peach tree dish.”

And in October she drew attention when she bemoaned President Joe Biden’s attempts to reach out to women voters when he “can’t even define what a women is.”

On Twitter, people were quacking up about Greene’s latest complaint.

As for her main point – that spending several days counting ballots is a sign of voter fraud – the Brennan Center for Justice says that many states require election workers to wait until election day to remove absentee ballots from their envelopes. States that process absentee ballots ahead of election day can include them immediately in vote counts on election night.
