‘The Goldbergs’ star George Segal dies at 87

George Segal, who has a long list of credits including an Oscar-nominated turn in the 1966 film “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,” has died. He was 87.
Segal’s wife Sonia confirmed the news. “The family is devastated to announce that this morning George Segal passed away due to complications from bypass surgery,” she said in a statement, according to Variety.
The renowned actor most recently appeared as a regular on the ABC series “The Goldbergs.”
