Liberal MP Dr Katie Allen says COVID-19 outbreaks are occurring because of a “failure” in contact tracing, not hotel quarantine.

“I’ve always been very clear, it’s the contact tracing, it is not the hotel quarantine,” Dr Allen told Sky News.

“We need to have that gap filled between quarantining and contact tracing, that is where the failure is.”
