Three-time Olympian Paddy Barnes is the next athlete in BBC Sport NI’s daily Olympic Memories series.
Belfast boxer Barnes won bronze medals in the 2008 Games in Beijing and again four years later in London.
He carried the flag for Ireland at the opening ceremony at the 2016 Olympics in Rio and says that moment was as memorable as winning a medal.
