The Bachelorette: Charity Lawson walks out Brayden Bowers but he returns to crash cocktail party
Brayden #Brayden
Charity Lawson was shocked when Brayden Bowers returned to crash her cocktail party after she already walked him out on Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette.
The 27-year-old child and family therapist was kissing John Buresh, 27, a data scientist from New York, when they looked over and saw Brayden, 24, a travel nurse from San Diego, standing nearby and watching them.
John angrily walked off.
‘I didn’t like how I left the other day,’ Brayden told Charity, who earlier booted him from the show. ‘I was really emotionally charged, and I really wanted to come back and just let you know that I’m really sorry.’
Charity said she gave him many opportunities to open up and Brayden left again after being a frontrunner when he got the First Impression rose.

‘I wish you the best of luck in this process,’ said Brayden, who already was on thin ice with Charity before she eliminated him.
The men were upset that Brayden returned and took more time away from them.
Aaron Bryant, 29, a software salesman from San Diego, confronted Brayden as he tried to leave and told him that he needed to apologize to John, but Brayden told him to get out of his face.
Brayden got into a waiting van and Aaron kept trying to talk to Brayden.
‘Aaron I will wup your ass bro,’ Brayden said. ‘Get out of my face, dude.’
‘You will not touch me,’ Aaron said. ‘You are not a man, bro.’
‘I’ll f*** you up, bro,’ Brayden said. ‘Meet me in PB, baby.’
‘Close the door, get out of here,’ Aaron said. ‘Punch the gas, man.’

At the start of the episode, the remaining men traveled to Washington state. They checked in their lodge and hoste Jesse Palmer, 44, handed them a date card for Dotun Olubeko, 30, a medicine specialist from Fresno, California, that read ‘let’s leap into love.’
Dotun said it felt amazing to get the one on one. Charity drove over and picked Dotun up for their date. Brayden got angry listening to the other men talk about Charity.
‘I have the strongest connection right now with her,’ Brayden said in a confessional. ‘I think that’s apparent.’
Charity took Dotun to what she said was one of the tallest bridges in North America. He then saw that they would bungee jump off the bridge over a river.
‘One of my biggest heights is fears,’ said Dotun, who was so nervous he said the words backwards.
Dotun and Charity got strapped in to jump off the 20-story bridge. Charity started crying; she was so scared. Dotun told them that they got this and would do it together. They both were told to stand on the bridge and to step back until their heels touched the edge. Dotun and Charity counted off and then jumped together screaming the whole way down.
‘That moment was insane,’ Charity said. ‘It’s liberating. It’s scary but I feel so at peace. I just conquered a fear that I thought I was never going to be able to do. And I did it with an incredible person who truly was the only reason I was able to get through that.’
The two even jumped together a second time. Charity said Dotun made her feel really protective.

Back at the hotel, Joey Graziadei, 27, a tennis pro from Koloa, Hawaii, told Aaron that he appreciated how he brought concerns about Brayden to Charity’s attention.
‘He’s done things that have made him kind of seem shifty at times,’ Joey said. ‘I have complete faith in her and I would be shocked if Brayden’s sticking around much longer.’
There was a knock on the door and it was the group date card. The date was for Joey; Aaron; Brayden; Michael Barbour, 29, a yacht captain from Chicago; Caleb Balgaard, 24, a pro wrestler from Orlando; Sean McLaughlin, 25, a software sales rep from Troy, New York; John Buresh, 27, a data scientist from New York; and Tanner Courtad, 30, a mortgage lender from Pittsburgh; and read ‘Meet me in the woods.’
Xavier Bonner, 27, a biomedical student from Euclid, Ohio, got the one-on-one with Charity.
‘I haven’t been on a group date with Brayden before but of course it’s not going to go smoothly,’ Aaron said in a confessional.
Dotun told Charity about how he came to the country when he was four years old and that his parents struggled to make sure he had a good life.
‘I relate to you,’ Charity said. ‘You are someone who truly blows me away every time we talk.’
‘You give me a sense of hope,’ Dotun said.
The two kissed and Charity said in a confessional ‘this really could be my person.’ Charity picked up the rose and handed it to Dotun.
‘I’m so happy,’ Charity said. ‘I can’t stop smiling.’
Dotun said Charity felt like a perfect match. The two then got into their bathing suits and kissed in a hot tub.
The next day on the group date, eight men went into the woods to meet up with Charity where they met three young girl scouts. The scouts ordered the men go into the forest and find something edible for them to eat in five minutes. The men ran back with what they found.

Aaron brought them a frog and Brayden started to eat some beets that he found. The men were then asked to write down on chalkboards who they would eat out of all the men and they all wrote down Brayden except for Brayden who wrote down Sean’s name.
‘I like her,’ Brayden said. ‘ I think she is an amazing woman. She might just be an amazing woman for someone else that’s not me.’
At night, Charity had a cocktail party with the men.
‘I’m very serious about trying to determine whether or not this woman is going to be someone that I could see myself with the rest of my life,’ Brayden said.
‘I feel like you are wasting people’s time,’ Aaron said.
‘She wants a husband, not just a connection,’ Aaron.
‘Yeah, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time so I will be ready to leave if I don’t have that connection with her,’ Brayden said.
Charity walked in and wanted to know what they were talking about.
‘He said he had his bags packed because he does not trust this process,’ Aaron said.
Charity asked Brayden to go talk to her.
‘I hope he does not come back,’ Aaron said.

No idea: ‘I still have no idea where I sit with you,’ Brayden told Charity
Brayden told Charity he had been ‘down in the dumps’ since he came to Washington.
‘I still have no idea where I sit with you,’ Brayden said.
Brayden said it hurt to hear that she had connections with the other men.
‘I feel like I don’t want to be here right now,’ Brayden said.
‘It’s disappointing to see such a strong connection plummet like this, but I deserve someone who is going to wholeheartedly put their whole heart in this,’ Charity said. ‘So let’s go. I’ll walk you out.’
Brayden got in the car and rode off upset. Charity told the other men that Brayden would not be returning.
‘I’m just so happy at this point because I feel like the toxicity has left the room,’ Aaron said.
Charity gave the group date rose to Joey.

The next day Charity went on her one-on-one date with Xavier.
Xavier said he would do anything for his partner and Charity got teary eyed and gave him the date rose.
At the final rose ceremony, Charity gave roses to Aaron, Tanner Courtad, 30, a mortgage lender from Pittsburgh; and Sean McLaughlin, 25, a software sales rep from Troy, New York.
The Bachelorette will return next Monday on ABC.
