Terence Crawford hits out at Jermell Charlo after loss to Canelo Alvarez

After Jermell Charlo’s loss to Canelo Alvarez, the ongoing feud between Charlo and Terence Crawford continues.
Charlo expressed his desire to fight Crawford next in the post-fight interview, but Crawford responded by criticizing Charlo’s performance.
“You went out sad. Didn’t even try to win, all you did was try to survive. You should be ashamed of yourself,” Crawford wrote on social media.
Crawford, who recently won the undisputed welterweight championship against Errol Spence Jr, had already been involved in a war of words with Charlo in the media. He had even given his own prediction about the outcome of the fight between Charlo and Canelo.
“I got Canelo,” Crawford told ‘The Breakfast Club’ back in August.
“I think it’s going to be a good fight. I think a lot of people are sleeping on Charlo but he’s skillful, he’s big and he’s bigger than Canelo.
“Even though Canelo is at a higher weight, I think Canelo is going to be stronger than him, I think Canelo is going to be more powerful than him.”
Charlo intends to return to the 154 lbs weight class, where he still holds the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles. Meanwhile, Crawford is contractually obligated to a rematch with Errol Spence, though he can dictate the weight terms for the fight, and Spence has the option to decline the rematch.
If the Crawford vs. Spence rematch doesn’t materialize, there is potential interest in a Crawford vs. Charlo matchup at 154 lbs, adding further intrigue to the boxing world.
