A tornado hit Tennessee’s Nashville and Hendersonville

Big Play Entertainment Center off Gallatin Pike in Hendersonville, Tennessee was damaged after a tornado ripped through the state on Saturday. Local meteorologist and residents in the area posted videos on social media, showing extensive damage caused by the twister.
Big Play was a popular entertainment centre with an arcade and a bowling alley, in Hendersonville, a city south of Asheville, in North Carolina.
The National Weather Service had issued a tornado emergency for Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Residents in the area should take shelter immediately, as this is a life-threatening situation with a confirmed, extremely large, and damaging tornado on the ground causing catastrophic damage.
The roof of the entertainment centre has been damaged and has caved in on two sides of the building. Power lines are were out, and two minor injuries were reported, according to local news channel WKRN News 2.
Rain has been pouring down continously, reducing visibility and making it harder for emergency services, first responders and the police to navigate the city and get to all affected locations in the vicinity.
“Extensive” damage has been reported in the city of Clarksville, located about 48 miles northwest of Nashville, after a tornado hit Saturday afternoon, police said.
A tornado watch is in effect until 7 p.m. CT for parts of Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Severe thunderstorms capable of producing a few tornadoes, scattered damaging winds, and large hail are possible through Saturday evening from Louisiana to Kentucky.
