Tennessee Dairy’s Subtle Tribute to Jimmy Buffett Goes Viral
Another Monday #AnotherMonday
A beloved local dairy in Tennessee is going viral for a subtle tribute to Jimmy Buffett.
Hatcher Family Dairy, located in College Grove, has printed lyrics from the late singer’s track “Come Monday” on the side of their single-serve milk bottles, and one fan snapped a picture of the sweet gesture and uploaded it to a fan page dedicated to the “Margaritaville” crooner on Facebook yesterday, Sept. 8.
“Best tribute I’ve seen,” Cindy Rutherford Thomsen wrote on the social media site alongside a photo of a small milk bottle stamped with a best-by date of 9/22 and the words, “Come Monday it’ll be alright.”
Neighbors of the dairy were thrilled to see them getting some recognition in the group, one commenting, “That place is awesome! Right down the road from where I live.”
“If they have chocolate milk: ‘I’m goin’ down to Fausto’s get some chocolate milk,'” another group member suggested, referencing Buffett’s “My Head Hurts, My Feet Stink, And I Don’t Love Jesus,” leading another to confirm, “they have the best chocolate milk known to mankind!”

“These people are great! They have the best chocolate milk in town…. I’m still not ok either,” another replied.
Others took the opportunity to continue to mourn the musician, who died earlier this month after a battle with an aggressive form of skin cancer.
“It’s past another Monday and it’s still not right,” one declared, while someone else admitted, “The tears are still flowing!”
“Thank you for honoring, Mr. Buffett,” another comment read.
Since his passing, the world has done its best to honor him, with fans toasting him with shots of tequila in their Margaritaville-themed Crocs, Kenny Chesney affirming his legacy, and The Eagles covering some of his tunes on their farewell tour.
