Temps to rise, plenty of sunshine for first day of spring

Happy Spring! Spring officially begins at 5:24 pm, and this week will feel spring-like day by day.

After a cold morning, highs will rise near 50 degrees with plenty of sunshine. High pressure keeps the area quiet and calm through Tuesday.

Rain returns for the middle of the week with the next weathermaker approaching from the west. Highs reach the 60s by Thursday and stay above average through the rest of the week.
