Teddy Soares breaks silence on his split from Faye Winter for first time

LOVE Island star Teddy Soares has spoken out for the first time since his split from Faye Winter was confirmed.

Faye confirmed the pair’s split on Instagram after The Sun revealed they had gone their separate ways after 18 months together.

Teddy has now broken his silence for the first time as he shared an Instagram post where he reflected on life’s ‘ups and downs’.

The reality TV star shared two images as he managed to pluck up a smile in one of the shots.

In the caption, Teddy said “Love you all following the journey, there is always going to be ups and downs, but we keep going.”

Faye told their fans on Instagram earlier this week: “I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.

“Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us. I’m forever grateful.”

The couple had been dogged by rumours of a split for months with Teddy reportedly confessing to relationship problems to his co-stars on SAS: Who Dares Wins during filming last year.

An insider told The Sun of the couple’s broken romance: “Faye is devastated they haven’t been able to work things out.

“She really hoped she and Teddy were forever, but sadly it wasn’t to be.

“She’s known deep down it was over for a while, but wasn’t ready to let go.

“Faye’s keeping her focus on their dog Bonnie and making sure she keeps busy with work.”
