Tasha and Andrew branded Love Island’s ‘driest couple’ as fans fume over axe

Love Island fans on Twitter were not best pleased that their favourites Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna were evicted from the ITV2 programme on Tuesday – June 21.

Online users in their masses took to their keyboards to express their anger that Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page – who they branded the “driest couple” – managed to remain in the Spanish villa.

One post read: “Tasha and Andrew deserved to go though if we’re all being honest #LoveIsland.”

A second fumed: “Tasha and Andrew could leave right now and nothing would change at all #Loveisland.”

“Bro Tasha and Andrew are so useless, watch them get into the final because we don’t notice them at all, #Loveisland,” added a third.

A fourth echoed: “Ok respectfully are for real the driest couple in there.”

While a fifth said: “Tasha and Andrew are so boring and bland #loveisland.”

Amber and Ikenna were sent packing after a shock elimination – with a viewer vote revealing them to be the least popular contestants.

In their first interview the twosome revealed they were stunned by the surprise dumping.

Amber, 24, said: “I was shocked about the dumping in general and was shocked to be going home. It was bittersweet.”

Ikenna, 23, added: “I was a bit upset obviously.”

Despite not hitting it off with viewers at home, they both agreed that they have no regrets over their time on the ITV2 show.

Ikenna said: “I’d do nothing differently. No regrets at all.”

While Amber echoed: “I wouldn’t have done anything differently.”
