Sydney CBD shooting: one man shot and another arrested, NSW police say

Emergency services have responded to reports a man has been shot in the Sydney CBD.
New South Wales police said emergency services were called to a building on Castlereagh Street about 12.50pm after reports a person had been shot.
Officers attended the scene and found a man believed to be suffering from a gunshot wound. He was being treated by paramedics and first responders.
Police said a man had been arrested and “there is no further ongoing threat to the community”.
A crime scene had been established and police were asking the public to avoid the area to allow emergency services access.
“Further information will be disseminated when it becomes available,” police said in a statement.
