Suspect in Marina strong-arm robberies arrested

Marina police arrested the suspect in two strong-arm robberies Tuesday morning.
Police said the first victim was walking last Friday afternoon along Locke-Paddon Park when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect demanded money from the juvenile victim with threats of assault.

Two days later, a second victim reported being threatened similarly in the 265 block of Reservation Road. The Marina Police Department connected the cases and positively identified 32-year-old Christopher Anderson as the suspect in both incidents.
Anderson was booked into the Monterey County Jail on a number of charges, including attempted robbery, parole violation and elder abuse.
