IT LIVES — IT WAS PRETTY WINDY YESTERDAY, BUT NOT AS MANY AS TODAY. IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS THE HIGH WILL MOVE EAST, BUT THE RADAR PICTURE IS NICE AND CLEAR. THAT IS NOT CHANGING. AS I PUT THE MODEL INTO MOTION, ALL MORNING AND AFTERNOON, HARDLY A CLOUD IN THE SKY FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY. THE WIND BECOMES EASTERLY ON MONDAY, AND TUESDAY A LITTLE MORE SOUTHEASTERLY IS THE HIGH MOVE EAST. NO RAIN IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF THE COASTAL AREAS UNTIL 9:00 A.M. THIS MORNING. A BIG HEADS UP THERE. WINDS ARE BLOWING AT 21 RIGHT NOW AT THE LAKEFRONT, ALL OUT OF THE NORTHEAST. THE TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NORTH SHORE TH MORNING, 11-15 AGREES COLDER THAN THIS TIME YESTERDAY. ON THE SOUTH SHORE, 3-7 DEGREES COLDER THAN THIS TIME YESTERDAY. IF YOU ARE ON THE NORT SHORE, YOUR TEMPERATURES IN THE 30’S, BOGALUSA AT 35. DOWN HERE ON THE SOUTH SHORE, BELLE CHASSE AT 49. 45 DEGREES FOR HOUMA, SO IT IS PRETTY COLD ACROSS THE NORTH SHORE. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY. THE SKIES ABOVE THE SUPERDOME ARE LOOKING MIGHTY FINE, CLEAR SKIES EXPECTED FOR THIS AFTERNOON. IT IS 52 AT THE AIRPORT, THEY HUMIDITY AT 43%, NICE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA. YOU CAN SEE OUR TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON RISING INTO THE 60’S FOR MOST OF US. I THINK 67 OR 66 DEGREES FOR AN AFTERNOON HIGH FOR THE AIRPORT. NOTHING BUT SUNSHINE ALL DAY LONG. THIS EVENING, THE SKIES ARE STILL CLEAR AND TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE 50’S. OVERNIGHT, 35-46 DEGREES.

High pressure is in control of our weather here and across the Southeastern United States. The high is bringing northerly winds and thus much drier and cooler air. Temperatures over the next several days will increase as the high moves east and our winds become southeasterly once again.Sunday: Expect a mostly sunny and mild day with a light breeze and afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.Monday: A mostly sunny and mild day with a light breeze, no rain and afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.Tuesday: A mostly sunny and warm day with a light breeze, no rain and afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 70s.Wednesday: A partly cloudy and warm day with a slight chance of rain and afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.Thursday and Friday: Partly cloudy, warm and humid days with a slight chance of rain and afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.Saturday: A partly cloudy, warm and humid day with a 20% chance of rain and afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
