Summer Walker speaks on her stage performance criticism
This week, Summer Walker is set to release her “Clear 2: Soft Life” EP. On Monday, she went on to reveal the tracklist for this project, as nine new songs will be available. This includes a collaboration with Childish Gambino, as well as production from Solange Knowles, Steve Lacy, and John Kirby.
Meanwhile, Summer is also addressing those who believe that she needs to display more energy at her concerts. This comes after her performances at Usher’s Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas earlier this month, as well as Mary J. Blige’s Strength Of A Woman festival in Summer’s hometown of Atlanta, last weekend.
Therefore, on Instagram, Summer said people have been telling her this, for years. However, she explained that she makes slow R&B music, and doesn’t need to do things such as twerking on stage. She also added that doing things like that doesn’t make sense for her, as an R&B artist. Summer also hilariously went on to dance to her R&B songs, to prove her point.
Meanwhile, Summer has also been dating “BMF” actor, Lil Meech. The two have been spotted at various events together, as Summer even wore Meech’s BMF chain. She also posted a note and flowers that Meech sent her before her Strength Of A Woman performance.
