Stray: Safe codes in The Slums

Stray #Stray

The Slums is a part of Stray that has dozens of minuscule secrets hidden away, and uncovering them all takes a fair bit of effort. The biggest mysterious safe in Stray is the one found near Morusque, and we’ll walk you through each and every step you need to know to solve that mystery.

In this guide we’ll be explaining The Slums safe codes, but we’ll also list out the other safes and door codes in the area that you’ll need to know in order to collect everything in Stray. If you want to complete everything you can find in The Slums, you need this guide.

The first door you encounter that blocks your progress will be shortly after you meet B-12. Go into a nearby room and knock some paint pots off a shelf to reveal the code behind them. It’s 3748.

There’s one room in The Slums filled with books. There’s a safe hidden behind a pile of books that contains Doc’s notebook. You can open this with the key in the nearby bedroom.

In Seamus’ apartment, there’s a secret digicode lock behind a picture on the wall. Knock the other pictures off, and you’ll be told the code is related to the time. There just so happens to be four clocks on the wall. When you look at the times, you can figure out the code. It’s 2511.

This safe is the most mysterious one. First, you’ll be given a binary note, and robots will tell you only a real geek can figure it out. You can take it to Elliot – the robot who will fix the Tracker for you during the main quest – and he will tell you that it points towards Dufer Bar, where you can meet Momo.

Climb on the bar itself, and knock a nearby painting off the wall. The code is hidden behind it.

The code is 1283. Take it back to the safe, and you’ll be rewarded with Music Sheet 8/8.
