Steph joins LeBron, MJ in exclusive club after 30-point game originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Like a fine wine, Steph Curry is getting better with age.

Curry, who turned 34 years old in March, dropped in a team-high 31 points to lead the Warriors to a 109-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals at American Airlines Center on Sunday night.

Curry now has seven games with at least 30 points during this postseason run, putting him in an exclusive club with Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Curry and the Warriors took a commanding three-games-to-none lead over the Mavericks and are one win away from their sixth NBA Finals appearance in eight seasons.

As the stat notes, both LeBron and MJ won the NBA Finals MVP the years they had at least seven 30-point games in the playoffs. That bodes well for Curry, who has yet to capture the Finals MVP trophy despite winning three championships.

Curry will look to lead the Warriors to a closeout win over the Mavericks in Game 4 on Tuesday night in Dallas. Another 30-point game from the two-time NBA MVP could seal the deal for the Dubs.
