Steelers vs. Broncos score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, TV channel, streaming info for AFC showdown

Steelers #Steelers

A dominant defensive effort was one of the reasons why the Steelers led the Broncos at halftime, 17-3. Pittsburgh’s defense, led by outside linebackers T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree, recorded four sacks and two turnovers during the game’s first 30 minutes. Dupree’s forced fumble of Drew Lock set up the game’s first score, a 2-yard touchdown run by James Conner. Pittsburgh added to their lead on Ben Roethlisberger’s 84-yard touchdown pass to rookie Chase Claypool.

Lock, following the hit from Dupree, left the game for good midway through the first quarter with a shoulder injury. Broncos rookie receiver Jerry Jeudy, whose 19-yard catch set up Brandon McManus’ 49-yard field goal, is probable to return after sustaining a rib injury. Jeff Driskel, who entered the game in relief of Lock, was picked off by Steelers cornerback Joe Haden late in the half. Haden’s pick set up a Chris Boswell field goal.
