It was Giants footy at its very best today — fast, furious and deadly efficient. The Saints defence, among the best in the league in 2023, had no answers to the might of GWS today.
It’s a disappointing finish to the year for a St Kilda team that took big steps forward under Ross Lyon this year, but they were taken out of their comfort zone today and soundly beaten by a better team.
Work to do in the offseason for the Saints, but the Giants don’t look done yet in 2023. Whether it’s Brisbane or Port Adelaide, they should be wary of the Orange Tsunami.
