Tottenham Hotspur FC winger Erik Lamela has been fined again after being caught for the third time within twelve days on a speed camera near his club’s north London training ground.
The 28 year-old Argentinian international was clocked driving his red 5-litre Range Rover at 48mph in a 40mph zone on the A10 in Enfield on May 20, last year.
He was dealt with under behind-closed-doors Single Justice Procedure rules at Willesden Magistrates’ Court and the outcome of the case has only recently become public.

He was fined £40, with £40 costs and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge for the latest speeding offence and received three penalty points on his licence
Lamela, who earns £80,000 a week playing for Tottenham Hotspur, scored in the club’s 5-4 defeat in the FA Cup at Everton on Wednesday.
The £30m signing, who lives in a £5.6m luxury apartment in The Bishops Avenue area, East Finchley is potentially one more speeding offence away from an automatic six-month ban.
He was fined £40, with £40 costs and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge for the latest speeding offence and received three penalty points on his licence.
This will be added to the six penalty points he already has for speeding at 52mph on May 8 and 48mph on May 13, last year.
