Jordan Greenway is officially on the move.
After shopping Greenway for the past couple of weeks, the Wild traded the 6-foot-6, 240-pound winger to the Buffalo Sabres on Friday afternoon for a pair of draft picks. A source confirmed the trade to the Pioneer Press.
It’s been a rough season for Greenway to say the least. He battled injuries in the early stages and only has 2 goals and 5 assists in 45 games. He will likely benefit from a change of scenery.
The move makes sense for the Wild after adding wingers Marcus Johansson and Gustav Nyquist in a pair of trades earlier this week.
