Social media explodes with reactions to Ohio State’s pathetic showing vs. Mizzou
Ohio State #OhioState
You hate to see it. Wait, no, you love to see it.
Ohio State fans and media spent the past month hyping up the new-look Buckeyes without Kyle McCord under center, and it turns out, be careful what you wish for. Quarterback Devin Brown got injured early, yet again, and OSU had to rely on its defense and Lincoln Kienholtz at QB. And it wasn’t nearly enough in a 14-3 loss to a resurgent Missouri team.
Social media exploded on Friday night after watching the Buckeyes look less like Ohio State and more like Iowa. Here are some of our favorite reactions from mostly media types.

I won’t be dunking on Ohio State for this loss to Missouri. Non-CFP bowl games truly don’t matter in modern college football.
Games that do matter, though? Games vs your rival where the B1G East Title is on the line. The last three:
U-M 30, OSU 24U-M 45, OSU 23U-M 42, OSU 27

This isn’t the Ohio State I fell in love with as a child. Something needs to change.

Ryan Day made Kyle McCord the scapegoat for the Michigan game, so it’s especially enjoyable watching him totally have to eat it tonight

Ryan Day needs to stop beefing with 86 year olds and put up a fight against an actual team for once
