(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 25 – Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik on Thursday joined Juventus from Napoli. Former Ajax centre-forward Milik, 28, is expected to be back-up for 22-year-old first-choice centre-forward and Serbia striker Dušan Vlahović. Milik had been on loan from Napoli to Marseille since last year. He is now joining the Turin giants on a fresh loan worth one million euros, rising to seven if the Bianconeri buy out his contract, sources said. Milik scored 38 goals in 93 matches for Napoli after joining them from Ajax in 2016. He has 62 Poland caps, since 2012, and 16 goals for his country. The 186cm tall (6ft 1inch) striker was set to have a medical later Thursday so as to be at coach Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal for Saturday afternoon’s game against Roma. JUve have four points form their first two Serie A games while Roma has all six along with reigning champs Inter and Napoli. (ANSA).
