Mars-owned candy brand Snickers has teamed with insurance firm Lemonade to shield homeowners from any unwanted trickery this Halloween.

According to data from the insurer – which specializes in home, renter, car, pet and life insurance – burglary and vandalism home insurance claims are, on average, highest around Halloween.

To provide peace of mind to homeowners during the spooky season, Lemonade has launched its new partnership with Snickers in an effort to equip select policyholders with the ultimate treat: full-size Snickers bars, along with co-branded Halloween decorations, door hangers and yard signs designed to scare off any wrongdoers.

One sign reads: “No tricks. This house has full-size treats,” suggesting that trick-or-treaters are welcome, but vandals and thieves should beware.

The initiative aims to reward insured homeowners and incentivize others to invest in insurance through Lemonade.

The campaign – which is being promoted on both brands’ social media accounts – was created in partnership with Omnicom-owned agency BBDO.
