Snap counts from Vikings week 2 loss vs. Eagles
Vikings #Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings continue to find ways to be disappointing and did so on a big stage with a 34-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.
There were quite a few injuries from the game that impacted the Vikings moving forward, but also during the game as well. Those injuries impacted the snap counts, including safety Lewis Cine continuing to get no playing time on defense.
Here are the snap counts for both the offense and defense.

There aren’t a ton of takeaways here, but Addison playing in 69% of snaps is noteworthy. He is continuing to play better than his counterpart Osborn and could be the starter sooner rather than later.

The biggest takeaway is Jackson getting 21 snaps on defense with Cine not getting a single snap. That’s a problem for the Vikings moving forward.
Marcus Davenport only getting four snaps due to his ankle injury is frustrating, but with 10 days before they play the Chargers, he will hopefully be ready to go.
