Philadelphia 76ers guard Mac McClung continues to make a name for himself at All-Star weekend out in Utah. After a nice showing in the Rising Stars challenge on Friday night, now was the time for him to show off his athleticism.
In Round 1 of the slam dunk contest, McClung gave the people what they wanted. He grabbed the ball over two people, hit the ball off the backboard, and then threw it down over his head reverse style.
The dunk was impressive and the judges all gave him a score of 50. McClung also did it on only one attempt which makes it even more impressive.
McClung also received love from his new teammate in Tyrese Maxey. The rising Sixers star gave his love to McClung on Twitter.
It’s obvious that McClung has a lot of athleticism and he showed off on Friday that he can shoot the 3-ball as well. Maybe he will get an opportunity for the Sixers now that he’s on a two-way deal.
