More than a dozen shots were fired in downtown Milwaukee around 12:45 a.m. local time in the midst of the Bucks’ championship celebration early Wednesday morning. 

As of 1 a.m. local time, three people could be seen handcuffed on Juneau Ave. 

A Milwaukee police officer at the scene told a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter “we probably have some injuries.” The incident was captured by a local television station.

Police, in an email sent just after 4:30 a.m., said three people were injured in simultaneous shootings at 12:42 a.m.

A 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were injured in a shooting. Both had injuries that were not life-threatening.

A 22-year-old man who was shot arrived at a hospital and had injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.  

Police said the circumstances that lead to the shootings are under investigation. No other information was released by police.
