Shaheen Holloway eyes lofty goals for Seton Hall: ‘I want to get to the Final Four with this team’

NEW YORK — Shaheen Holloway led Saint Peter’s on a Cinderella run to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament a year ago, but he has even loftier goals now that he’s back home at Seton Hall.

“When you get the opportunity to play in the NCAA Tournament and make a run like we made to the Elite 8, I’m hungry,” Holloway said during Big East media day at Madison Square Garden. “Now I want a Final Four, I want the national championship. That’s the goal. For me, I’m just a coach that’s a sponge, man. Every day, I want to get better. I’m in the best conference with the best coaches in the country, so I gotta step my game up.”
