Seth Rogen Repeatedly Calls Ted Cruz ‘Fascist’ in Vicious Twitter Tirade

Seth Rogen’s Twitter feed lately has been a mix of his pottery mastery and online brawls with political adversaries.

And the Pineapple Express star did not hold back when engaging with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), labeling the Texas senator a fascist—twice.

The drama started when Cruz upset a lot of people by tweeting that President Joe Biden was abandoning the American people by reentering the Paris agreement—a multinational agreement on climate change.

Recycling a line from Donald Trump, Cruz wrote: “By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.”

The Biden-bashing post on the day of the inauguration upset a lot of people and numerous celebrities responded with anger and annoyance. Actress Rosanna Arquette replied: “You have no business being a senator in America, you are inept.”

Author Chuck Wendig said: “I’m sorry, guy who helped incite a violent insurrection against our Capitol and our democracy where people died says what?”

Rogen also replied to say: “F*** off you fascist.”

It seems that coarse language and name-calling is what riles Cruz up, so much so that he only responded to Rogen.

Screenshotting the response, he decried the Freaks and Geeks star for his lack of civility and said that the Democrats are the party of Hollywood celebrities.

“Charming, civil, educated response. ⁦@Sethrogen,” he replied. “If you’re a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today’s Dems are the party for you. If you’re blue-collar, if you’re a union member, if you work in energy or manufacturing…not so much. #JobsMatter.”

Once again, Rogen put Cruz back in his place with a response that garnered far more likes.

“Haha get f***** fascist,” he tweeted. “Go encourage a white supremacist insurrection again you f****** clown.”

Rogen later added: “If you’re a white supremacist fascist who doesn’t find it offensive when someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact motherf***** for you.

“Also I’m in four unions.”

Pressure has been growing on Cruz to step down over his objections to the presidential election results, and his role in the “Stop the Steal” campaign—three Texas newspapers have now called for his resignation.

Five people, including a police officer, died during the riot at Capitol on January 6 with plans to derail Biden’s impending move into the White House after Trump addressed crowds at a “Stop the Steal” rally.

Last week, a video calling for Cruz and fellow GOP senator Josh Hawley’s expulsions went viral and has now been viewed more than three million times.

Cruz is no stranger to vicious Twitter spats. Last year, his college roommate and Hollywood screenwriter Craig Mazin said the Republican senator has been “pathetic since 1988” in a heated exchange.
