Senators’ Connor Brown: Provides another shorty

Brown scored a short-handed goal and registered six shots Wednesday in a 4-3 overtime win against Toronto.

Brown struck for his league-leading fifth shorty of the season when he followed up his own rebound after being denied on a breakaway. It was Brown’s 21st goal overall, a new career high for the 27-year-old. He had 20 as a rookie with Toronto in 2016-17.
