Piers Morgan can give it, but he can’t take it.

The loud-mouthed British broadcaster stormed off the set of ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” Tuesday after weatherman Alex Beresford criticized him for his one-sided attacks of Meghan Markle.

Morgan, who has long accused Meghan of tearing Prince Harry away from the royal family, questioned the legitimacy of what she told Oprah Winfrey in their interview Sunday, particularly about her suicidal thoughts and the impact of the negative British press.

“Yes they had some great press around the wedding, but there was bad press around the engagement, before the engagement and everything that has followed since has been incredibly damaging quite clearly to Meghan’s mental health and also to Harry,” Beresford said.

Neither Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Philip asked about Archie’s skin tone, says Oprah

Then, he shifted to speak directly to Morgan.

“I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle. You’ve made that so clear a number of times on this program. A number of times. And I understand that you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off,” Beresford said.

“She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has, but yet you continue to trash her.”

That’s when Morgan walked off, muttering “I’m done with this” and “I can’t do this.”

Beresford called the move “pathetic” and “absolutely diabolical behavior.”

“I’m sorry, but Piers spouts off on a regular basis and we all have to sit there and listen ― 6:30 to 7 o’clock yesterday was incredibly hard to watch, incredibly hard to watch,” he said.

Morgan was back in the host’s seat after the commercial break and urged Beresford to “talk to each other in a civilized manner given we work at the same show on the same team.”

Prince Harry says racism was ‘large part’ of why he and Meghan Markle left England

“You launching into a pretty personally derogatory monologue on one of your colleagues isn’t probably one of the best ways to go about it,” Morgan said. “As much as I’d like to sit here taking abuse from you for hours on end, that’s not going to happen.”

Beresford insisted that he wasn’t calling Morgan racist, but said he was tired of trying to explain why the ITV host’s rants are “wrong.”

“I’ve walked into institutions as the only person of color and experienced covert and overt racism on so many occasions and why the Meghan interview really resonates with me is because an ex-work colleague, not on this show, asked me if I was worried about the shade of cocoa that my son was going to come out,” Beresford said. “So I fully understand the hurt that is behind all of that.”

Beresford’s mother is white and his father is Guyanese.
