Season Two of Lil Dicky’s ‘Dave’ to Feature Lil Nas X, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner
Dave #Dave
The second season of the Lil Dicky FX comedy Dave will feature cameos from Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Kendall Jenner, Lil Yachty and J Balvin, among others. The often cringe-inducing chronicle of the aspiring, neurotic rapper who can’t stop oversharing about his underwhelming qualities is slated to return on June 16 at 10 p.m. on FXX with two episodes and stream the next day on FX on Hulu.
The show, which became FX’s most-watched comedy series ever in its first season last year, will also feature guest spots from CL, Hailey Bieber, Benny Blanco, Kyle Kuzma, Rae Sremmurd (Swae Lee & Slim Jxmmi), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, series producer Kevin Hart and more. The series stars co-creator/executive producer/writer Dicky (born Dave Burd) as Dave, along with Taylor Misiak as Dave’s girlfriend Ally, GaTa as his hype man GaTa, Andrew Santino as Dave’s manager and roommate Mike, Travis Bennett as childhood pal and producer Elz and Christine Ko as Ally’s roommate Emma.
According to a release, in season two Dave is still convinced he’s destined for rap stardom, maybe. “With the pressure mounting as he records his debut album, he has to decide if he’ll sacrifice friendships, love, and his own sense of self in order to make his dream come true,” reads a statement. “Simultaneously exasperating and inspiring to his friends, Dave vows to leave no stone unturned on his quest to become the next superstar.”
Season one was packed with guest spots as well, including drop-bys from Justin Bieber, YG, Macklemore, Trippie Redd, Kourtney Kardashian, Tierra Whack, MadeinTYO and Gunna, among others.
