Seahawks vs. Steelers score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for Week 17 game
Steelers #Steelers
A Super Bowl XL rematch is underway in Seattle, as Geno Smith and the Seahawks are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams at 8-7 are jockeying for playoff positioning, so this game is especially important as the end of the regular season draws near.
Surprisingly, the two offenses dominated the first half of action, as we saw five straight scoring drives in the first two quarters. While Mason Rudolph is coming off of a fantastic performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Steelers are moving the ball via the ground. Pittsburgh racked up 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the first half. Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III scored a rushing touchdown early as well, and rookie wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
There’s plenty of football left to be played. Will Mike Tomlin secure his 17th straight season without a losing record? Or will the Seahawks win their third straight game? Follow along in the live blog below, as we break down this matchup as it happens.
