Sea of Thieves Developers Seemingly Tease a Multi-Platform Release, All You Need to Know

Recently many reports have surfaced online that talk about Xbox’s exclusive games and their Game Pass subscription becoming available on rival platforms. Due to the nature of these reports, Xbox is set to clear the air about their ‘vision for the future’ later today through their official podcast. Ahead of that, it seems Sea of Thieves developers have jumped the gun and have teased multi-platform availability.

Sea of Thieves’ latest tweet has the words, “Rowboats are red, and sometimes they’re blue, other times they’re green, occasionally they can be white”. Looking at this tweet many gamers have matched colours to respective consoles, which means red could be Nintendo Switch, blue could be PlayStation, green could be Xbox and white could be what signifies multi-platform availability.

Of course, Sea of Thieves developers haven’t confirmed anything about this officially. They provided a follow-up tweet that wished the community a Happy Valentine’s Day and stated that their favourite colour of rowboats is purple. However, that didn’t stop the comment section from asking a plethora of times whether the earlier tweet meant the gaming coming to other platforms. Moreover, this report also matches the recent report that states Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment and Sea of Thieves are in the first wave of titles that will arrive on rival platforms.
